FLAT AND STREET THE FRENCH CONNECTION 23/11/2011

La revista francesa Soul BMX muestra un vídeo revolucionario acerca del flatland y el street, su conección a través de la combinación de trucos de las dos modalidades se presenta en este momento como una nueva forma de explorar el BMX y crear un estilo nuevo. Algunos riders legendarios en el pasado habian comenzado a mostrar indicios de lo que podria ser pero en este video los tres protagonistas realmente sobrepasan lo que se había hecho:

It was inevitable, using the same environment, flat and street would connect one day and create a new evolution (a revolution ?) of bmx riding. Matthias dice que como la lluvia no dejo hacer el evento de clasificación en el lugar donde el evento estaba planeado, les toco ir a la ciudad y hacerlo en un spot improvisado como una sesión callejera pero que eso fue algo increíble. En el vídeo se puede ver.

The qualification were planned to be at the castle where the event is gonna take place but a huge storm came and rain away the plan, We came back to the city center of Malaga and wait an hour till the floor would dry up. We found a spot downton and decided to freestyle the qualification as a street show! That was awesome!!

En este video se pueden observar una cantidad increíble de riders montando con unas ideas muy originales. Definitivamente la escena japonesa es una de las más fuertes del mundo y con un nivel bastante bueno. El video es de hace aproximadamente 6 años y algunos de los flatlanders que aparecen allí se han convertido en grandes estrellas del deporte en la actualidad. Un video bastante motivante.

In this video you can see an incredible amount of riders riding with very original ideas. Japanese scene is definitely one of the strongest in the world and with a fairly good level. The video is about 6 years ago and some of the flatlanders that appear here have become big stars of the sport today. A very motivating video.

RESULTADOS CFB RONDA 5 6/11/2011

Hoy fue la última ronda de clasificación para el CFB del 2011, más adelante publicaremos los resultados y puntajes completos de todos los riders que participaron y los clasificados para la final. El evento el día de hoy estuvo bien, el clima ayudo, el lugar estaba agradable y los flatlanders de Funza mostraron un gran empeño para ayudar a conseguir sonido y hacer el evento de la mejor manera posible. La idea es que la final sea algo especial y estaremos mirando los detalles para ese evento, apenas quede confirmado lo que se va a realizar lo informaremos. Por el momento lo único que sabemos es que la final se realizará a mediados de diciembre. Los resultados fueron:

El concurso

Los participantes tienen una ronda de 2.5 minutos y clasifican los 10 mejores.
La segunda ronda es de 2.5 minutos y clasifican los 4 mejores
Posteriormente en la ronda de semifinales : batalla entre en 1 y 4 , batalla 2 y 3 .( según puntaje.
Y la final se disputara: Batalla por el 3 y 4 puesto... final 1 y 2.

Reglamentación:

- Eps o sisben obligatorio
- Obligatorio portar la camiseta del evento SIN MODIFICARLA durante el torneo, al igual que en la premiación
- Cualquier acto antideportivo será motivo de amonestación y/o retiro del evento

Juzgamiento:

- Se contara con la presencia de 3 jueces para total neutralidad de los resultados
- Se premiaran los trucos terminados, buena extensión, estilo y creatividad.
- Se entregaran premios a los 8 primeros lugares de cada modalidad.
- Al segundo llamado de un deportista al partidor, sin recibir respuesta del mismo, este será descalificado automáticamente.
